Tom Martin Music Bio

Tom Martin has opened concerts as a solo guitarist and singer for some fairly famous performers over the years. He has opened for Stephens Stills, (CSNY), Roger McGuinn,(The Byrds), Dickey Betts,(Allman Brothers Band), Kenny Rankin, and Preston Reed among others.
His song "Never Go Back" appeared on a CBS daytime drama as a featured performance and character theme song. Some of Tom's other original songs were placed on a rock station compilation album project and appeared in a major corporation documentary film focusing on community youth support programs.
Tom is a Writer member and Publisher member of ASCAP, as well as a member of TAXI music service where many of his songs have been forwarded to various producers and others.
Tom performs solo on Acoustic and Electric Guitars, with strong acoustic rock vocals and Harmonica. Tom is adept at various open tunings which he utlizes on many original and cover song selections.
Writing and performing for years in both the Midwest and the West Coast, California, Arizona, etc., Tom impresses audiences with his unique right hand style of rhythmic and melodic expression that creates a sound larger than a solo guitar performance.
